Educational SOMA playing cards.

As many will know.
Our SOMA puzzle hold the power of teaching spatial awareness to children and young - well to everyone I guess.
Finding material to support such training is not that easy though.
But on the webpage of Paul Matthies http://paul-matthies.de/
You will find a lot of math cards, teaching things like mirroring etc.
And among these there is also two very destinct sets of SOMA puzzle cards.

Ok - By now you have figured out that these cards are in German.
But I am sure that you will agree with me, that when it comes to SOMA puzzles, language is really no barrier.

And, by the way - the Germanic language and the Anglian language bear common traits,
Given the fact that the Danish spoken by Vikings around year 1000 had many words from German,
and when the Vikings invaded England, a lot of these Danish words reflected and became the modern English language.
For example:

Danish: Vi har et pusle spil
English: We have a puzzle game ..(I dont know how "Spil/Spiel" evolved into "Game" ??)
German: Wir haben ein puzzle Spiel
Lets have one more:
Danish: Farvel
English: Farewell
German: gute Reise .. Hmm, well .. Actually
                     "gute Reise" translates directly into
                     "well travel"
                  or "well fare",
so flip the sequence and get "fare well" = "Reise Gut" 'travel good'
These are just a few of thousand such word similarities, I could continue,
Oh - like: Stræde - Street - Strasse and Hus - Haus - House ........
So.. Dont worry about German, it will soon be your second language. ;o)

Now back to the Game/Spillet/Spiele
